- The cleaned and checked plastic pallets leave the depot through self-pick-up or transportation organized by Palpool.
- The empty pallets are scanned at the 'goods-in' depot of the first customer (company 1). Later, the plastic pallets leave company 1 laden with goods. At the 'goods-out' depot, the pallets are scanned again.
- The recipient of the goods (company 2) carries out the input scan of the Palpool pallets. At this point the rental period ends for company 1 – and starts for company 2.
- If the supply chain terminates at this point, Palpool organises the return of the empty pallets to the nearest depot upon the customer’s request. Alternatively company 2 can deliver the pallets to the nearest Palpool depot himself.
