Palpool wins Logistik Award

On the 1^st day of the CeMAT trade fair, the Palpool team received the MM Logistik award from Germany's oldest industrial magazine ‘MM machinery market’ amidst great celebration. Coinciding with its official market launch, Palpool was recognized by the jury for its RFID and web portal-based pallet pooling system in the identification technology category.

The award was made both on the basis of "transparent costs and accountancy as well as the 100% overview of stock, factors are major objectives in almost every warehouse these days. With its award-winning product Palpool, Paul Craemer is able to achieve these objectives, at least in terms of pallet management. Based on RFID technology and used in conjunction with a web portal, Palpool rents out plastic pallets in closed-loop systems. As each individual pallet is identifiable and traceable via the Internet portal, customers can gain an up-to-the minute overview of costs and information concerning the stock that the cargo-carrier has. The entire process of collecting and managing pallets takes place via handheld devices and the Internet portal."
